Betting rules for Midwest Critter Fest
Everyone will start with 10 poker chips
Poker chips can also be bought for extra chances
1 for $1
6 for $5
20 for $10
The bet must be placed before that round of competition starts.
(Even if your chosen competitor hasn’t gone yet. If that class of competition has started bets are closed.)
An announcement will be made before the betting pool is closed for that round of competition.
Bets must be official with the betting office and not amongst each other. Please see Head Tallywacker.
1 Poker Chip is equal to 1 Bet.
If there are less than 5 competitors for the class of competition we only take Win bets (1st Place)
A singular correct bet will equate to 5 Raffle tickets
A Correct bet for two places will equate to 10 raffle tickets. (2 Poker Chips)
A Correct bet for Win (1st Place), Place (2nd Place), and Show (3rd Place) will equate to 30 raffle tickets. (3 Poker chips)
You can bet on multiple winners to win for a poker chip each or you can bet out the win, place, show, for 2 or 3 Poker chips depending on the bet, for a bigger pay out with higher risk.
If you place a bet out for the win, place, show, only a singular bet may be placed per class of competition.
